I'd sugest saving it in .GIF or .PNG rather than .JPG because then you'll get better quality.
And I agree about the Japanese fad thing. 0_0!!

And yeah, I was gonna do GIF- but because I need so many colours for all the emotidrops (tons more yet to come), and seeing as GIF only offers a few colours, I decided to go for JPEG. The border in JPEG looks so grey, tho... :(
